    Awesome $6 lunch specials.  China King is my favorite Chinese place in Springfield.

    My favorites are their bourbon chicken, pineapple chicken, and their crab rangoon.

    Okay two things to note!

    1. The chicken & broccoli is very good (see photo). Also, if you like the thin Asian style deep fried chicken, then you will love the lemon chicken, has a good dipping sauce (made primarily from corn syrup). Additionally the egg rolls are good, but very similar to other Asian restaurants, and the same goes for the grab Rangoon's.

    2. Downside, the other deep fried options are to greasy for my liking and are served with dark meat, that is a hard pass for a white meat only guy.

    Overall, a great place to get a family style dinner but not great for an individual order. Has lots of flavor and generous portion sizes.

    Awesome food. Got the sesame chicken and it was the best I have had in awhile. The lo mien was delicious and so were the crab rangoons and fried wontons!!

    I'm a wonton fan, especially with a big piece of pork in the middle. They used to have the best, but something changed in the taste of the pork, still decent. I know this isn't "legit" Chinese food but it's definitely NOT your standard Springfield Chinese food! I love the Pinapple Chicken and the General Tso is good too! Ask for extra spicy and it's even better!

    Good size portions, especially for the lunch specials
